St. Mary’s Church, Almeley
In St Mary’s church we hold a wide variety of services, some are traditional using the 1662 Book of Common Prayer, others are more modern. Some services are especially for children and young families, with a great variety of music, drama and other activities.
We normally hold our services every Sunday at 11.00am on the first four Sundays in each month.
The standard pattern of services is:
First Sunday - Holy Communion (sometimes extended)
Second Sunday - Morning Prayer
Third Sunday - Holy Communion (sometimes extended)
Fourth Sunday - Morning Prayer
On the fifth Sunday where there is one in a month we join with the other churches in the Eardisley Benefice for a Group Service at one of the churches in the benefice..
Every two months we change one of the services for a Family Service, and on some Sundays at special times of the year we vary the service and the time. For services and times for the coming month, please check the links on the right.
We do not normally have a weekday service at St Mary Almeley, but weekday services are held at our sister church in the benefice at St Mary Magdalene in Eardisley (see right)
