Bags 2 Church.

We will have bags available throughout the year as and when people have any unwanted clothes, shoes, and linen to put in them.

Contact Mary McQuiston on 01544 327221 for details.

Community Larder

Throughout the year we ask you to bring tinned food, dried food, 1lb bags of sugar, etc. to the church to be sent to the Community Larder centres in the county.

These centres help people who are in need by providing them with a bag of essential food.  There will be a box at the back of the church in which to put your offerings.

There is now a Community Larder in Kington, and that is where your donations will be taken.

Church Lottery – Your chance to win prizes  - and support a good cause.

Quarterly prizes of £100 and £50 and £25 in June, September and March, with prizes of £250, £100, £50 and £25 in December.

We are anxious to involve the whole parish in this project so If you feel you would like to join in this simple scheme, or for further information and application form contact Elizabeth Shayler, on tel no 01544 340746 or by email at

Membership does not need to be restricted to Almeley parishioners, so if your family or friends would be interested in joining, please ask Elizabeth for more than one form.
